On the 14th, Yeonsu-gu (연수구) (Mayor Lee Jae-ho (이재호)) received a designated donation of 1.5 million won for Yeonsu-gu’s Dream Start children from the public Hoban Summit Songdo Daycare Center (호반써밋송도어린이집) (Director Kim Ji-woon (김지운)). The donation was raised from proceeds of the daycare center’s ‘I♥Incheon’ event held on the 21st of last month, and will be given to Dream Start families experiencing economic hardship.

Raised from Proceeds of the ‘I♥Incheon’ Event
Director Kim Ji-woon (김지운) said, “I am delighted that we were able to practice sharing again this year through an event held together with the children,” adding, “We will continue to run programs that allow children to grow together with the local community.”

Donation to Go Entirely to Dream Start Families
A Dream Start official said, “We will carefully deliver this donation, filled with the children’s love, to Dream Start families in need,” adding, “We are grateful for the continued support for our struggling neighbors in the community.”
