Songdo 4-dong Community Council Hosts Real Estate Tax Law Lecture — 45 Residents Attend

The Songdo 4-dong Community Council (송도4동 주민자치회) in Yeonsu-gu (연수구), chaired by Yang Gyeong-yeop (양경엽), hosted a special lecture on real estate tax law for local residents on the 24th at the main hall of the dong’s Community Administrative and Welfare Center. Drawing 45 pre-registered attendees — a sign of considerable public interest — the lecture was organized to deepen residents’ understanding of real estate-related tax laws and to deliver practical tax information they could apply directly in their daily lives.

From the Basics of Real Estate Tax Law to Tax-Saving Tips — Explained in Plain Terms

The lecture, delivered by a certified tax accountant who operates a tax office within the district, walked attendees through the subject step by step — from the fundamental concepts of real estate tax law to practical tax-saving strategies applicable in everyday life — drawing an enthusiastic response from those present.

The Community Council noted that it had designed the lecture format around everyday case studies rather than dry legal text, so that even residents without specialized knowledge could follow along with ease.

‘Songdo Happy Broadcasting Station’ Content Production Also Under Consideration Based on Resident Satisfaction

Community Council Chair Yang Gyeong-yeop stated that he plans to ‘review the possibility of using resident feedback and satisfaction data as source material for content produced by the Songdo Happy Broadcasting Station (송도 행복방송국).’

He added that the council ‘intends to continue operating practical, community-centered education and cultural programs that reflect the needs of residents going forward.’
