This D’Artone family classical concert is being organized as a matinee concert where children and their guardians can enjoy music together. The program ranges widely, from Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” to Disney animated film OSTs and Christmas carols, and was designed so that audiences experiencing classical music for the first time can enjoy it comfortably.
According to the organizer’s guidelines, the concert is open to children aged four and up, meaning children born in 2022 or earlier may attend. It offers families looking to bring young children to a concert hall a chance to experience classical music.

Taking the stage are violinist Yang Jeong-yun, winner of first prize at the Rieu-Pierre International Competition, and soprano Yoon Jeong-bin. Oh Hye-seung will provide the narration, with D’Artone performing. The combination of instrumental performance, vocal music, and storytelling narration is meant to help the audience understand the pieces more easily.
The concert is composed of two parts. In Part 1, “Classics of Winter,” the first movement of “Spring” and the first and second movements of “Winter” from Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” will be performed. It is a segment where listeners can enjoy melodies depicting different seasons side by side and feel the atmosphere the music creates.
“The Swan” and “Aviary” from Saint-Saëns’ “The Carnival of the Animals” are also included in the program. Through pieces that depict animals in music, the program is designed to let children connect sound and imagery as they listen.
This is followed by the aria “O Mio Babbino Caro” from Puccini’s opera “Gianni Schicchi” and excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker Suite.” Audiences will encounter a range of classical forms, from Baroque concertos to operatic arias to ballet music.
Part 2, “A Christmas Gift of Music,” continues with a familiar program centered on animated film music and carols. Pieces to be performed include the Disney “Frozen” OST “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” the “Beauty and the Beast” OST, a Disney medley, and a Christmas carol medley.
D’Artone designed the concert so that children can follow the stories behind the music through friendly narration and storytelling. Guardians, too, can enjoy familiar melodies together with their children and experience a wide range of both classical and film music.
A D’Artone representative said, “This concert will give children a thrilling musical experience and will be an unforgettable, warm Christmas gift for the whole family,” adding, “We hope it will be a time to hold your beloved child’s hand and share the magical warmth that music brings.”
