Performances and Experience Programs Draw Large Resident Turnout
The Eoullim Hanmadang event, held ahead of the general assembly, opened with performances by the Kongsealal Library (콩세알도서관) guitar club, the Residents’ Autonomy Center (주민자치센터) line dance team, the Munil Girls’ High School (문일여고) dance club, and the Move Street (무브스트릿) dance team, followed by four experience booths — a flea market, doenjang (된장, soybean paste)-making, face painting, and a popcorn zone — creating a space for local residents to connect and enjoy themselves together.
Four 2027 Village Agenda Projects Selected, Including Heating Support
The general assembly included a report on the Residents’ Autonomy Council’s activities and projects since last year, an announcement of the resident vote on next year’s village agenda projects developed by two subcommittees, and a report on the council’s 2027 self-governance plan.
According to the resident vote, Mansu 1-dong’s (만수1동) 2027 village agenda projects were selected in the following order: winter heating support for vulnerable groups, a homemade gochujang (고추장, red chili paste) sharing project, the “Together with Filial Devotion (함께해孝)” 70th and 80th birthday celebration, and installation of shaded benches.
