The committee comprehensively reviewed a total of 12 resident-proposed projects related to the corporation’s operating facilities and programs, evaluating each for necessity, public interest, urgency, and resident benefit, and ultimately selected 2 projects following deliberation. The selected projects will be reflected in the 2027 main budget after detailed review by the relevant departments and consultation with Namdong-gu (남동구).
Resident Participatory Budget Proposals Accepted Year-Round
The corporation accepts resident participatory budget proposals year-round, and any resident can freely submit a range of ideas related to the corporation’s operations and facilities using the form on the ‘Resident Participatory Budget’ (주민참여예산) board on the Namdong-gu Urban Management Corporation (남동구도시관리공단) website.
A corporation official said, “The Resident Participatory Budget System (주민참여예산제) is an important channel for communication that reflects residents’ opinions in the budget and realizes participatory administration,” adding, “We will do our best to improve resident satisfaction through transparent and responsible budget management.”
