Namchon Children’s Park (남촌어린이공원) Newly Built as a Splash Pad This Year
Among these, the splash pad at Namchon Children’s Park (남촌어린이공원) was newly built this year and features uniquely shaped water play structures, including a crocodile model and a shipwreck model.
To create a safe environment for children to play in, Namdong-gu (남동구) plans to station safety officers at the splash pads at all times and conduct water quality tests twice a month to maintain proper hygiene.
District Hopes for Another Popular Summer Destination Following Last Year’s Success
A Namdong-gu (남동구) official said, “Last year, the splash pads were a summer destination that drew a strong response from residents despite the intense heat,” adding, “This year as well, we will work hard on facility management and accident prevention so that visitors can use the splash pads with peace of mind.”
Further details on the splash pad operations can be found on the Namdong-gu (남동구청) district office website.
