Escher County pledged to donate ramen worth 1 million won every month, starting with its first donation on Sept. 18. This is the second. Because it supplies goods regularly rather than making a one-time contribution, steady help is expected to reach households in need of support.
The donated ramen will be delivered to vulnerable residents in the district who have difficulty obtaining food.
“I hope the ramen we deliver each month will be a small help in our neighbors’ daily lives,” said CEO Kim Yong-gi. “We will continue to steadily share with the local community.”
A district official said, “Following the first donation, we thank Escher County for once again joining hearts for our neighbors. We will make sure their warm gesture reaches those who need it.”
Escher County is an urban-style senior town located in Michuhol-gu, providing residents with meals, health care, daily living convenience services and leisure programs.
