Incheon’s Namdong-gu (남동구) announced on the 14th that it held the ‘2026 Namdong Social Economy Promotion Week’ in the first-floor lobby of the Namdong-gu Office (남동구청) from the 6th to the 8th to mark Social Enterprise Day.

10 Village and Social Enterprises Take Part
The promotion week featured 10 companies, including the village enterprise Mindalpaeng-i Social Cooperative (민달팽이사회적협동조합) and social enterprises such as Smart Ajin (스마트아진), which ran a variety of programs centered on exhibition, promotion, and sales to help open up new markets.
At the promotion hall, food sales by Sujakteok Gongbang (수작떡공방) and Mindalpaeng-i (민달팽이), along with product exhibitions by Smart Ajin (스마트아진) and Anirock (애니락), introduced residents to the fine products and services of social economy enterprises and helped spread awareness of the value and role of the social economy.

One-Day Classes Such as Soap-Making Also Offered
Alongside promotional activities introducing the work of social enterprises, one-day classes such as soap-making and pot-holder making drew strong interest and enthusiastic participation from residents.
Namdong-gu Mayor Lee Byung-rae (이병래), who visited the event, took particular interest in the participating companies’ products and activities and encouraged those involved. Mayor Lee said, “We will continue to provide support so that social economy enterprises can grow further and thrive together with the local economy.”
