Incheon City has opened a venue for cooperation aimed at discovering outstanding technologies in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) digital trust and connecting inter-company collaboration to commercialization. Incheon Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Chan-dae) announced that on the 8th it held the first 2026 networking event of the ‘AI Digital Trust Infrastructure Cooperation Council’ at the Digital Trust Infrastructure Hub Center on the 14th floor of Michuhol Tower in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon.

The event was organized to discover outstanding technologies in the local AI digital trust field and to support technology exchange and commercialization between demand firms and supply firms. About 40 related companies in the Incheon area took part, sharing the latest technology trends and discussing avenues for inter-company cooperation.
The ‘AI Digital Trust Infrastructure Cooperation Council’ is a cooperative body led by Incheon City and the Incheon Technopark that connects local demand firms with supply firms. It plays the role of uncovering new ideas and business opportunities through exchange and cooperation among companies.
At the event, Choi Sun-mi, principal researcher at the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), delivered a keynote lecture on the theme of ‘Digital Trust Infrastructure in the AI Era.’ Choi offered a broad introduction to the latest trends, covering not only the concept of digital trust infrastructure and cases of its application in industrial settings, but also the current state of related systems and policy directions. Following the lecture, participating companies took time to exchange information on their respective technological capabilities and business status.
Digital trust infrastructure is drawing attention as a foundational technology that guarantees the reliability of data and services as AI technology spreads across industries. As social demand for the accuracy and safety of technology grows, so too does the importance of a cooperative framework that helps technologies developed by local firms take root in real-world settings.
Using this event as a springboard, Incheon City plans to broaden opportunities for exchange among participating companies and to support practical cooperative activities such as demand-supply matching and proof-of-concept (PoC) preparation. It also intends to pursue policy support from multiple angles so that the innovative technologies of local firms can stably establish themselves in both public and private settings. This is expected to serve as a foundation for expanding a growth platform for local technology companies and for creating an AI service environment that citizens can trust.
Yeo Myeong-i, head of the city’s AI Innovation Division, said, ‘This event was a meaningful occasion for the region’s AI digital trust companies to share their technologies and businesses with one another,’ adding, ‘We will continue to work closely with related institutions to actively create opportunities for companies to communicate and exchange on an ongoing basis.’
