The Mansu 5-dong Administrative Welfare Center in Namdong-gu, Incheon, announced on the 29th that it had presented plaques to Good Stores No. 51 through No. 53 and expressed its gratitude to the business owners who joined the sharing effort through regular donations. A Good Store (착한가게) is a shop that regularly donates at least 30,000 won per month to the Community Chest of Korea. The donations collected are used through the Mansu 5-dong Community Social Security Council for various welfare projects for low-income residents in the area.

The three businesses that newly joined the Good Store program this time are Kind Senior Welfare Center (CEO Kim Hwan-jeong), Wellbeing Sauna (CEO Jo Hyeon-jin), and Buja Samgyeopsal (CEO Jeong In-suk). The head of each business pledged to make regular monthly donations to help disadvantaged neighbors in the community. The business owners said that although their contribution is small, they joined the donation effort hoping it would help struggling neighbors in the community, and expressed their intention to continue practicing sharing together with the community going forward.
An Gang-suk, head of Mansu 5-dong, said, “I am grateful to the business owners who joined in sharing for the sake of their neighbors,” adding, “We will use the donations carefully so that they help improve welfare for low-income residents in the area and eliminate welfare blind spots.”
