The public health center (Director Jeong Han-suk) of Yeongjong-gu District (Mayor Son Hwa-jeong) in Incheon has opened a futuristic “Smart Healthcare Center” that uses AI and digital healthcare technology to analyze residents’ physical condition and recommend personalized exercise regimens. The health center announced on July 20 that it will operate the smart health management service “ON-FIT” at the center on a pilot basis through July 31.

The center is located on the first floor of the Yeongjong-gu Public Health Center (100 Unnamseo-ro). In step with the launch of Yeongjong-gu District, the center was established as a public health management space equipped with cutting-edge devices, aimed at promoting residents’ health and helping them build proper exercise habits.

The pilot program “ON-FIT” scientifically measures and analyzes an individual’s physical condition using advanced digital healthcare equipment, then provides customized health management and exercise counseling. Residents can try out the center’s four smart devices — InBody, RealPT, WalkerView and Galileo — to check their health status in objective figures and receive guidance on personalized exercise plans.
Each device serves a distinct role. InBody provides a precise analysis of body fat percentage, muscle mass and body water to give an at-a-glance view of one’s physical condition, while RealPT uses AI motion recognition technology to detect issues such as forward head posture, pelvic misalignment and limited joint range of motion, helping users develop proper posture habits.

WalkerView analyzes foot pressure and joint movement in real time while walking to help users learn a proper gait, and Galileo stimulates deep muscles through whole-body side-alternating vibration exercise to support improved balance and increased bone density.

The program is free of charge for all residents of the Yeongjong area. Sessions are conducted one-on-one after a phone reservation, and participants need only bring indoor athletic shoes and comfortable clothing. With professional staff guiding the process, people of all ages can participate safely. Inquiries can be made by phone (☎ 032-760-6091~6092).
The health center plans to expand and refine the program after analyzing user satisfaction and operational results during the pilot period. The initiative is drawing attention for creating a channel in the public health sector through which residents can access advanced health management services without expensive equipment.

“The Smart Healthcare Center will be an innovative space that helps residents manage their health more easily and systematically through cutting-edge technology in their daily lives,” Director Jeong Han-suk said. “We will continue to expand smart health management services tailored to the characteristics of the Yeongjong area, and I hope many residents will take interest and make use of them.”
