At the festival, the animated film “Sing 2” was screened for families to enjoy together, and participating residents spent time enjoying culture and the arts, watching the movie outdoors with their families on a hot summer night and making memories together.
Director Oh Byeong-gyu said, “I am grateful to all the residents who joined us despite the hot weather,” adding, “We will take the lead in practicing cultural welfare that we can enjoy together with residents.”
Kim Chan-jin, head of Jemulpo-gu District, said, “I am grateful to the Changyeong Comprehensive Social Welfare Center for holding a film festival for residents every year,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to enhance welfare services for residents together with the Changyeong Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.”
This outdoor film festival, organized annually by the local welfare center, is an occasion for residents to gather and share leisure time together even amid the summer heat, showing how community-based cultural welfare programs are contributing to strengthening local community bonds.
