Namdong-gu Holds 2026 First-Half Awards for Outstanding Business Owners and Model Workers

Namdong-gu in Incheon announced on the 14th that it selected and honored seven outstanding business owners and model workers on the 11th at a ceremony held in the plaza of the district office, recognizing their contributions to revitalizing the local economy and strengthening labor-management relations.

The Outstanding Business Owner Award, given to small and medium-sized enterprises that have contributed to regional development through strong technology and social contribution, went to four companies: Orbis Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong Moo-young), which strengthened its foundation for sustainable growth through advanced technology and management innovation in precision bearing rollers; NVC Co., Ltd. (CEO Han Jeom-ja), which created a more pleasant environment by manufacturing expansion joint products; S.R. Technology Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong Hae-sung), which developed affordable, high-quality domestically made rectifiers, helping cut foreign currency outflow; and Kyungbang Sinyak Co., Ltd., recognized for contributing to the popularization and scientific advancement of traditional Korean medicine.

The Model Worker Award went to three employees who contributed to fostering harmony among workers and to improving productivity and stabilizing operations through technology development: Deputy Manager Ha Ji-hyung of Prime Co., Ltd.; Department Head Yoon Chang-woo of NVC Co., Ltd.; and Section Chief Kim Jong-gyu of Iljin Sheeting Co., Ltd.

Namdong-gu Mayor Lee Byung-rae said, “I am grateful for the hard work of these outstanding business owners and model workers, who have managed their companies with innovation even amid difficult economic conditions and become a solid stepping stone for local economic development,” adding, “We will continue to actively support the innovation and growth of Namdong-gu businesses to make this a great place to do business.”
