The district’s Welfare Policy Division announced on the 2nd that it had carried out the Chuseok blessing package delivery activity together with the Haksan Sharing Foundation. The initiative aims to share warmth with neighbors in need in the community ahead of the holiday through cooperation with a private foundation.
The period ahead of major holidays is considered a time when elderly people living alone and vulnerable households are relatively prone to feeling isolated. Through this delivery of blessing packages, the district plans to help these residents feel warmth as they spend the holiday.

This activity is part of efforts to close welfare blind spots through public-private cooperation, and the district said it plans to continue expanding cooperation with sharing organizations and groups in the community to sustain support for vulnerable groups not only during holidays but throughout the year.
