Main Guro G Festival events, including performances and hands-on programs, continue on the 19th and 20th

Guro-gu (Mayor Jang In-hong) announced that the ‘2026 Guro G Festival’ opened on the 18th at the Anyangcheon Ecological Flower Garden with the launch of the Guro Garden Festa, the French Cultural Festival, and the Anyangcheon Light Festival.

At the Guro Garden Festa, visitors enjoyed garden exhibitions and hands-on activities, while the French Cultural Festival offered performances along with French culture and food. As the sun set, lights and illuminated installations placed throughout the Ecological Flower Garden were switched on, and visitors continued to stroll along the gardens and walking paths.

At the Anyangcheon Light Festival lighting ceremony held at 8:30 p.m. that day, Guro-gu Mayor Jang In-hong and other attendees marked the start of the festival together. With the lights switched on, the area around the Ecological Flower Garden was bathed in a variety of colors and remained lively with visitors until late in the evening.

The festival continues throughout the weekend. From the 19th to the 20th, the main events of the ‘2026 Guro G Festival’ will be held along Anyangcheon Stream, offering a wide range of programs including performances, artificial intelligence (AI) and robot experiences, world culture experiences, and a food market.

On the evening of the 19th, the Guro G Festival opening ceremony will be followed by performances by Lee Jae-hoon and Kim Hyun-jung. On the morning of the 20th, the ‘Guro Carbon Zero Walk’ will take place along Anyangcheon Stream, and in the evening, the ‘TOP 10 Music Show’ featuring Park Seo-jin, Jin Sung, Ahn Sung-hoon, and My Jin will bring the festival to a close.

The Guro Garden Festa and the French Cultural Festival will also continue through the 20th. The Anyangcheon Light Festival will run until the 30th, allowing visitors to enjoy the nighttime scenery of the Ecological Flower Garden even after the G Festival has ended.

Guro-gu Mayor Jang In-hong said, “From the very first day, many people came to Anyangcheon Stream to enjoy the festival together. With a wide variety of things to see and do continuing through Sunday, I hope residents will come out to nearby Anyangcheon Stream this weekend and enjoy the autumn festival.”
