On this day, the Ganghwa-gun branch of the Korea Freedom League guided local residents passing by the Ganghwa Fisheries Cooperative on environmental protection methods that can be easily practiced in everyday life, such as reducing the use of single-use products, sorting waste correctly, and reusing resources. Members explained the practical tips to each resident one by one and urged their active participation.

The branch also distributed promotional items to residents, highlighting the importance of small actions that reduce unnecessary waste of resources and can be carried on in daily life. It emphasized the message that steady practice in everyday life, rather than grand slogans, is the starting point of environmental protection.

The campaign was carried out with the aim of raising residents’ awareness of resource recycling and taking root of an eco-friendly lifestyle in the region. At a time when the disposal of single-use products and waste is increasing, proper waste separation and resource reuse are regarded as the most accessible means of environmental protection that residents can practice directly in their daily lives.
